Is there holiday work available?
Yes, the majority of our vacancies occur during school holiday periods.
The parks are busiest from September to January. We therefore advertise just prior to the September holidays and again in November. Our advertisement states the seasonal positions available and skills and experience required of applicants. All applicants need to be available to work a seven-day roster during the holiday period.
In order to apply for seasonal employment please follow the directions that are stated in the Gold Coast Bulletin and/or SEEK advertisement or follow the guidelines outlined in the How to Apply section.
Are there Presentation standards that team members must adhere to when working at Warner Village Theme Parks?

- Tattoos must not be visible at any time whilst in uniform
- No facial jewellery is to be worn whilst on duty
- Male hair styles must not be longer than the collar line
What type of Rosters are available when working at Warner Village Theme Parks?
All of our Theme Parks operate seven days a week. Staff in front-line positions especially, will need to be flexible and available to work a seven-day rotating roster.
So you want to be in the movies...
Warner Village Theme Parks and Studio’s management have no involvement with the television & and film production companies that hire the Studio’s facilities. Subsequently we do not employ cast and crew.
Each production company is responsible for hiring their own staff; therefore potential applicants would need to approach the production company direct. We suggest you phone the Warner Village Roadshow Studios +61 7 5585 9666 to obtain a list of production companies currently on-site.
So, your dream is to work with the Dolphins and other Marine Mammals?
Becoming a Marine Mammal Trainer is fast becoming a popular career choice for young people. Unfortunately, these opportunities are extremely limited.
Work experience along with tertiary qualifications in the following fields are an advantage; Science, Psychology, Zoology, Marine Biology. Diplomas in wildlife studies have also assisted previous applicants.
A noted trend within the industry has seen success for applicants with a Zoo keeping Certificate, or the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program from Moorpark College in the USA.
Applicants without any of the above qualifications must have at least four years experience working in a similar field. During your study we suggest you obtain a SCUBA certificate and work on your public speaking skills. A large part of the position of Marine Mammal Trainer is dedicated to educating the public and being comfortable presenting information to varying groups and numbers of people.
Working at Sea World in any capacity and proving your commitment and dedication to our marine environment is another way, this too, takes time.
Sea World is a very people orientated business, with guest service, and performance skills also playing major roles in consideration of applications for positions with the animals. If this is your goal, hard work and dedication stand between you and success. Good luck!
